Where Beamcharge Began
Beamcharge was founded in Surry Hills with one clear idea: that physical activity should be purposeful, accessible, and genuinely enjoyable — not intimidating or exclusive.
We opened our doors on Mary Street with a small team of dedicated instructors and a commitment to creating classes that respect both the individual and the community they belong to.
Over seven years, that vision has grown into a studio of over 500 active members, three structured programs, and a teaching approach that prioritises long-term consistency over short-term intensity.
Our instructors are certified, experienced, and deeply invested in each participant's individual journey. We believe that when movement feels right — when it fits into real life and is led by knowledgeable, encouraging professionals — people come back. And when people come back, genuine progress follows.
